Sydney singer/producer Sparrows (Jess Nitties) fell in love with playing the guitar and writing songs as a kid, inspired by the stories of her father and uncle playing in bands around Australia back in the day.
A natural songbird, Sparrows creates electro pop songs that are addictive and musically distinct. She has a defined sound that is truly hers, making her an in-demand emerging Australian songwriter/producer. Her self-produced single ‘Over & Out’ received spins on KCRW & BBC Radio, added to triple j full rotation as well as reaching #23 on the Australia Top 100 Shazam Charts.
With musical influences including Grimes, Santigold and Empire of the Sun, her self-produced music often blends elements of indie pop and electronica. Sparrows is an oddity in pop music, maybe because of her production choices and somewhat child-like singing voice, giving her a unique edge.
She has supported Antony & Cleopatra, supported Kira Puru on her ‘Fly’ national tour and most recently supported Northeast Party House with Alice Ivy on their national tour ‘Magnify’.
FLUIR is a Sydney vocalist, composer, DJ and producer, crafting emotive dance electro-pop with a uniquely personal edge.
FLUIR released her breakout hit ‘I’ve Gotta Have You’ in early 2016, which premiered on the Triple J Morning Breakfast Show, reaching #9 on the Australian/NZ Spotify Viral Charts and later becoming the soundtrack to the MYER Stocktake Sales.
In 2017, FLUIR independently released her follow-up single 'Only One', receiving high rotation on Triple J and charting in the Shazam Top 100 Australian Charts. Triple J presenter Bridget Hustwaite listed the song as her #1 pick for the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2017.
In 2018 FLUIR worked alongside Sam Littlemore (PNAU) on her latest independent releases 'Change', 'Feeling For You' and 'Higher Ground', landing commercial radio adds from KIISFM, The Edge 96.One & SCA.
'Feeling For You' was later remixed by Jordan Burns, Camiel Daamen, Buried King & Price Park, reaching #62 on the ARIA Club Charts.
FLUIR recently made her festival debut at Groovin The Moo and later showcased at the prestigious BIGSOUND and EMC Australian industry events.
